CCAE Membership Information
Why CCAE?
Clearly, CCAE works on multiple levels for the advancement of adult education. All levels support each other in an interlocking network. Why CCAE? It's where you can find the most complete up-to-date information on adult education on the local and state level, share your ideas, create stronger educational system for adult learners, and make sure thate your professional needs being met.
Who Belongs?
Of the approximate 4000 members -
1. Teachers make up the largest group with 67% of the total number falling into this category.
2. Administrators, Counselors, and Advisors that serve in adult schools througout the state make up 12%.
3. The remaining 21% are classified personnel, students, retirees and other supporters of adult education.

As a member you will have the opportunity to learn more about adult education and get involved with these events at the chapter, section, and/or state level.

What do you get?
Legislative Advocacy - CCAE works to support legislation that maintains and improves adult education. CCAE works with legislators and keeps us informed about legislative issues inviting us to participate in the process.
Professional Development - Local and state conferences provide opportunities to expand and update knowledge by learning from a statewide array of adult education professionals.
Recognition and Scholarships - CCAE Awards are presented to teachers, administrators, classified personnel, and community person who have made significant contributions to adult education. Scholarships are offered through local chapters. These awards are presented at various events throughout the year.
HOW TO REGISTER
1. Download and fill out the Membership Application.

2. Choose the method of payment. If paying by check, make payable to CCAE.
3. If paying through Payroll Deduction, fill out the authorization card.
4. New members, please indicate monthly deduction on line 1.
5. Current members, place monthly increase on line 5.
6. Deductions are made 10 times per year.
Print and return membership forms to your CCAE site representative or send the completed application with payroll deduction card or check via U.S. Mail to:
